How to choose best pomegranate for perfect juice plag ai free
A ripe pomegranate usually has a deep red or dark pink color.A fruit that is bright and rich in color is usually fresh and packed with juicy seeds. I try to avoid fruits with too many pale spots or dull skin because they may not taste very sweet.
You can check the weight of the pomegranate by holding it in your hand, heavy fruits usually contain more juice and fresh seeds inside. Light fruits may be dry and less tasty. When comparing two fruits of the same size, always choose the heavier one for juicy and sweet pomegranate juice.
The skin of the pomegranate should look smooth, firm, and fresh. Small natural marks on the skin are normal, avoid fruits with deep cuts or soft spots . If the skin looks cracked or dry, the fruit may not be fresh. Healthy skin means the seeds inside are juicy and ready for making fresh juice.
The ripe pomegranate is often dark pink, reddish-brown or deep red. The fruit does not have to be perfectly shiny. Rich color generally means good ripeness. Fruit that is very pale may not be sweet enough to juice. I always choose fruits with bright and natural looking colors.
Though slightly flat-sided fruits are usually riper, but some people think that round pomegranates are the best. The seeds within become juicy, outer skin change its shape. This is a simple sign that the pomegranate is readyfor juicing.
